The Perfect Game

My latest  Smithsonian story is about the 1957 Little League World Series, the first won by a foreign team, and still the only perfect game pitched in a championship.    It was nice to track down some of the guys who played in that game and give them a chance to relive it one more time.

The movie based on the game (with some details changed) will be in theaters in mid-April.
